G & I were discussing tonight’s dinner and the convo went something like this:
Me: I have a craving for Indo-Chinese, can you make it?
G: I wish you had told me around lunch what you felt like for dinner, I would have been mentally prepared.
Me: I didn’t have that craving at lunch as I was full.
G: I can get Chinese takeout as I am going out now with Vidyuth and can’t come back and make it. I will just get flustered without prep.
Vidyuth (before I can respond): Amma does it everyday…….despite all that she has to do outside.
G just looked at me with a Our-kid-is-growing-up-&-taking-it-all-in look and I just started laughing…… 🙂
P.S. I had Indo-Chinese takeout for dinner tonight and G calls this as his #facepalm moment 😀
